As I was scrolling through my Twitter stream today I read a Tweet about how Edmodo had made some changes last night. I am sorry that I didn't favorite the tweet because I would love to give that member of my PLN credit for informing me of the awesome new feature that Edmodo rolled out last night.
If you are familiar with Edmodo you will notice something new in the following picture:
Edmodo has added a "Quiz" feature! I couldn't wait to get home to see how easy it was to use. After sitting down with my sixth grade son to check it out, we were both amazed at how easy it was to create, administer and take the quiz we created with Edmodo's new "Quiz" tool. You have four types of questions to choose from: Multiple Choice, True/False, Short Answer or Fill in the Blank.
The feature that I like the best about this new addition is that you are able to give instant feedback to your students after they take the quiz. Wow!
